My mum Sue Clarke was diagnosed with ovarian cancer in 2002 at just 49 years of age. Sadly mum died in March 2010 - March being Ovarian Cancer Awareness month. My Mums battle with this disease was truly inspirational, she remained dignified and unbelievably positive. Our family requested donations to this Charity instead of floral tributes Also boxes of pin badges were sold after the thanksgiving service for her life. This success in fund raising has inspired us as a family to do everything we can to support the Love Women Tribute Fund supporting Ovarian cancer action. If one thousand pounds can be raised my mums name can be permanently displayed on a remembrance wall at the research centre. My hope is that family and friends will log in regularly and add memories, photos and most importantly funds :-)
